AR-15 7.62x39 Magazines

With the AR-15 gaining in popularity with many sport shooters and those just wishing to exercise their Second Amendment rights, a variety of different chamberings have been developed for the AR 15 platform in recent years. Some of these various AR15 calibers ave fizzled while others have flourished. The AR-15 chambered in 7.62x39 is still a somewhat popular chambering for the AR-15 due to the low cost of just swapping an upper and feeding it inexpensive (except during a politician-inspired dry market of course) 7.62x39 ammo. 7.62 x 39 ammo is still readily available and exhibits good stopping power in defensive situations. Under normal circumstances shooters can plink with their full-size AR rifle at a lower cost than using .223 or 5.56 ammo for fun at the range, and still retain full powered loads due to the cost of Russian surplus ammo. Several AR-15 manufacturers offer upper receiver assemblies for the 7.62x39, and a few also offer complete weapons. Although 7.62x39 AR-15 magazines are not widely produced, there are a couple options from ASC and C-Products.
